1. Pay by Electronic Check

An electronic check (e-check) withdraws funds electronically from your U.S. checking account using your routing and account numbers.
Payments are securely processed by Forte Payment Systems (a CSG company).

  • Fee: $1.00 per payment (added to your student account)

  • Posting time: 1–3 business days

  • Recurring payments: Available through the online payment portal

  • Authorization: By submitting payment, you authorize American LC (via Forte/CSG) to debit your account for the specified amount.

Returned payments (e.g., insufficient funds, incorrect info) may result in reversal and a return-item fee per American LC policy.

 

2. Pay with Credit/Debit Card

You can pay tuition and fees online using a credit or debit card.
A PayPal account is not required—choose “Pay with Debit or Credit Card” at checkout.

  • Processing fee: 4.75% (PayPal lists this as Shipping & Handling)

  • Minimum payment: $25.00

  • Posting time: 24–48 hours

  • Example: If you pay $500, the total charge will be $523.75 (including the 4.75% fee).

This shipping label is generated automatically by PayPal and cannot be changed. The fee covers online transaction costs, not physical shipping.

3. Pay by Zelle

You can also send tuition or fees directly from your U.S. bank account using Zelle®.

Important:
When sending your Zelle payment, please include in the Note / Message / Memo (if available):

  • Your full name and Student ID number

Because not all banks transmit notes, please also email a screenshot or receipt of your Zelle payment to:

  • Amount and date of payment

Payments without both a memo and receipt email may be delayed in posting to your student account.

 

Receipts, Refunds, and Security

  • Receipts: Keep a copy of your confirmation or screenshot.

  • Refunds: See our Tuition and Refund Policy. (Processing fees from PayPal or your bank may be non-refundable.)

  • Security reminder: For your safety, never email or text your full card or bank numbers—only send confirmation receipts.
